Hello there.  We sure do miss seeing all the smiling faces come and go at the theatre, and it has been a huge whirlwind. We wanted to jump on and give you some updates on our renovations, pizza shop, shows and events. Demolition continues but will be wrapping up soon as we approach the start of 2026. Even though we are closed until October 2026, work on the backside is busier than ever. You will not recognize the theatre. So many changes and updates are taking place, but it will be beautiful venue once completed. It will be well worth the wait. We are beginning to build our 2026-2027 Entertainment Schedule, and we have already secured some great shows we know you will love. Keep an eye on our events calendar here to see just what we are talking about. Tickets for upcoming shows are scheduled to go on sale approximately 90 days prior to the show date. For shows scheduled from October 9th through December 31st, 2026, will be through our site monroetheatretickets.com due to our contract obligations. Then beginning January 1, 2027, we will change to Etix. We feel that the Etix site is easier to find, easier to navigate, and more user friendly. With that change, we will also have multiple persons scanning tickets in order to seat our capacity in or under an hour. This will make your experience better overall. Once open, we will also have a new traffic pattern flow. ALL persons entering the theatre will ONLY be able to enter at the main entrance, and ONLY through the doors to the left of the ticket booth. Tickets purchased at the door will then be executed at the ticket booth window only. This is to avoid bottlenecking in the entrance. By entering the doors only to the left, it eliminates the issue of people trying to get in, and people purchasing concessions also creating a bottleneck. We are creating a new 500 Club members group that will give you many perks sucks as early access to tickets, early entry, and several other bonuses. You will also see a slight increase in concession prices as costs are going up on items we sell. We hope these increases are minimal.  We are working with a phenomenal entertainment group to bring you a higher caliber of entertainment and draw more people from out of town as well. With that being said, the variety will be ever changing. Shows will be set to attract various age groups and interests. We will have concerts in Country, Bluegrass, Rock, Classical, and so on. Movies will resume as well. We hope to reopen the Theatre Pizza Shop in Mid-January once demolition and dust are completed.
